The waters are home to West Indian Manatees, bottlenose dolphins and bald eagles. It is a haven for birdwatching. Bonita Springs is home to Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary which contains the largest stand of virgin bald cypress in the world, with trees up to 600 years old.
The Dog Park--Bark n Play--is a spacious park that covers approximately six acres. There are three fenced areas for small, medium, and large dog breeds to run free.
