Bonita Springs is a welcoming city in southwest Florida located between Fort Myers and Naples. It’s known for its Gulf Coast  beautiful beaches and parks, including secluded Little Hickory Island Beach, Barefoot Beach and Bonita Beach Park, with its sand dunes. Bonita Springs Harbors Lovers Key State Park--a 1,616 acre park made of 4 barrier islands.  The park features natural trails for hiking and bicycling, acres of unspoiled mangroves and miles of pristine beaches.  The waters are home to West Indian Manatees, bottlenose dolphins and bald eagles.  It is a haven for birdwatching.   Bonita Springs is home to Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary which contains the largest stand of virgin bald cypress in the world, with trees up to 600 years old.  

The Dog Park--Bark n Play--is a spacious park that covers approximately six acres. There are three fenced areas for small, medium, and large dog breeds to run free.
